Chessie has been awarded with a research grant by the University of Iowa Graduate and Professional Student Government. Chessie will use the award to fund her project examining the relationship between maternal mental health and academic abilities of preterm and term-born preschoolers. Congrats, Chessie!
Megan has been awarded with a research fellowship from the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates. Megan will receive a scholarship of $2500 to continue her work on the neurocognitive mechanisms underlying numerical processing in preschool children over the summer. Congrats, Megan!

Francesca (Chessie) is a graduate student in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences Clinical Psychology program.
